The goal of Fuse is three-fold. We want you to grow in the Gospel of Jesus and what he has done for us. We want you to connect in a community with others that share the same love for our Savior. Lastly, we want you to live on the mission that God has given you, to tell all who He is and what he has done for us!

Grow in the Gospel: We teach the Gospel, and we focus on spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is the good news that through faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, a person is forgiven of sin and transformed to live in a restored relationship with God by grace. Read: 1 Corinthians 15:1-41 Peter 2:24.

Connect in Community: Community is an important part of Westover. Westover communities are made up of people who have been transformed by and are led by the Gospel to personally care for one another. Read: Ephesians 4:15-161 Corinthians 12:24-27.

Live on Mission: Our Mission at Westover is to joyfully join in God’s plan to reconcile the world to Himself by actively demonstrating and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all areas of life, locally and internationally. To spread the “good news” to the nations, we support over 100 missionary families who go where we cannot. In Greensboro, we support organizations and people in need. Read: Matthew 28:18-202 Corinthians 5:18-21.

What is Fuse?

Fuse is the name of Westover's High School Ministry. We strive to be a ministry that fuses together the broken stories of our students with the redemptive story of God's Grace. We also strive to fuse together the lives of our students into a community that reflects the love of God and his power to unite. But it doesn't end there. We also want to push our students to share the love, grace, and acceptance they have found in the Gospel with a world that is broken. We strive to fuse in a heart of service to our students, so that they can serve a broken world and show Jesus to those around them.

So how do we put this into practice?

Each week, we strive to "fuse" in each of these vision areas to the lives of students. We do that through a few different weekly events:

FUSE @ NIGHT (Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm in S001): Our weekly Fuse service incorporates worship, teaching, games, and "hang out" time for our students. Our doors open at 6:15pm, and students have a time to hang out and play games before we get started for the evening.

FUSE SUNDAY MORNINGS (Sundays during 10:30 service in S001): Every Sunday morning we will have a devotional message, games, and worship in the Fuse Room. Sunday mornings are for new students, students who have a week "off" from serving, and students looking for community. We encourage all families to worship together during the 9am service before joining us.

FUSE SMALL GROUPS (Various times and locations): Our Fuse Small Groups are vital to growing our students understanding and knowledge of the Gospel and biblical truth. Our Small Groups are led by adults that pair with a group of students for 4 years. Small groups are split up by gender and by class (ex. Junior Girls or Freshman Guys) and meet together in homes.

Let us know you are coming!!

We love when new STUDENTS join us! But we know that walking into a room full of High Schoolers can be scary. We would love to have the chance to talk with you and meet you when you get to fuse, and the best way to do that is to let us know that you are coming! click right below to send us a little information about you.
